The vice lords are a prominent gang in the city of Chicago, United States. They often target young women and often hold their victims as sex slaves. Gang activity in Chicago is on the rise and vice lords are very dangerous. In the 1990’s, they were involved in drug trafficking and money laundering. Their name was changed in the 1990’s to the Gangster Disciples. They were also highly religious and could be identified by their distinctive clothing and tattoos. From that, they eventually expanded their activities to include prostitution, robbery and murder. They were also involved in illegal drug sales. They originally were known as the Vice Lords because they used to sell and use alcohol. The gangs were formed in Chicago in the early 1970’s.
